Have you seen Madagascar 2 yet? I like family movies that can be entertaining for kids and parents alike and Madascar 2 is that kind of movie. It's only been out for a short time now and it has not only made it to #1 at the box office, it's making it's way into our everyday lives-is it just me or are you seeing the Madagascar theme just about everywhere these days?
They (or you) can reenact favorite scenes with action figures.
They can celebrate with it on their birthday.
And they can even get it at McDonald's.
McDonald's is using the new Madagascar 2 Happy Meals to promote their new platform, One Minute to Move it. It's a global children’s well-being program designed to encourage kids to see what a difference a minute can make. If you need some ideas, you can go to http://www.happymeals.com/ where kids can find creative activities and ways to move it in a minute.
On a related note, did you know that Alex from Madagascar 2 is a HUGE fan of The Happy Mom blog?

My 17 yo daughter loves this movie, sings and quotes from it constantly.
We have plans to see it soon. In fact, I have been looking forward to it. Not a big fan of McDonald toys-they tend to end up in the give-away bag.
neat blog.
Haven't seen it yet, but the almost-four-year old and his daddy are dying to : )
I'm really out of the loop--I haven't even seen the first one! I should really take mt 5 yr. old--I'm sure he would love it!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
i want to take our son to see this, looks good! they are seriously promoting this thing to no end. I just bought some yogurt last night at the foodstore and guess who's on it? lol!
great blog, found you via Mom Bloggers too!
My boys loved the first movie. I had to ban the "Move It" at chruch. People don't see it as funny when it's being sung through a prayer.
I'm gearing up to take them to see this one.
I think we are going to see it this week. We loved the first one!
LOL! Does he follow you on Twitter too?
My son got a Madagascar toy in a Happy Meal recently and its driving me crazy.
I hear it going off all the time and its one that sings...so I hear "I like to move it, move it" at random moments all through the day. Ugh.
